My name is Toni Hagins and I am the owner of Journey Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Texas and Arkansas and obtained my degree from Texas A&M University- Texarkana in 2016. My therapy style is characterized by authenticity and an unconditional positive regard. My theoretical orientation is person-centered in combination with components of Adlerian theory. I also pull from other approaches to fit the needs of the client as well as their personal style. I believe that the therapy process starts and ends with the cultivation of a strong therapeutic relationship.
Kira Barone, M.S. LPC Associate
My name is Kira Barone and I am an LPC Associate under the supervision of Joanne Curgian, LPC-S. I obtained my degree from Southern Arkansas University in 2024. My focus is on guiding adolescents and adults to elevate their self-worth and become the best version of themselves. I am extremely passionate about the ways an individual views themself and how it can impact the trajectory of their experience, situation, and their life.
When working with clients, I utilize a cognitive behavioral and person-centered approach. I have found the structure of these two approaches to allow clients to go along their journey at their own pace, while also gaining the benefits of evidence-based tools grounded in empirical research.
